Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

This Policy explains how Two You Digital Limited, trading as 2U Digital, uses cookies and similar technologies on 2udigital.eu. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. It reflects the GDPR, the Irish Data Protection Act 2018 and Regulation 5 of the Irish ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. No. 336/2011).

1. WHAT THESE TECHNOLOGIES ARE

Cookies are small data files stored on or read from your device. Similar technologies include browser local storage, session storage, pixels and tags. Except where a technology is strictly necessary to provide a service you request, we use it only after your consent.

2. YOUR CHOICE

On your first visit you can Accept all, Reject all non-essential technologies, or Manage analytics and marketing separately. Optional controls are off unless you actively select them. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent access to the website.

Your decision is stored for up to six months. You can withdraw or change it at any time through Cookie Preferences in the footer. Withdrawal is effective for future processing; we also attempt to remove first-party analytics and advertising cookies already stored by this site. You can additionally delete cookies through your browser.

3. STRICTLY NECESSARY

  • 2u_consent_v1 - local storage used by 2U Digital to record whether analytics and marketing were accepted or rejected. Duration: up to 6 months.
  • Booking-service storage - Tochat.be / ChatWith.io may use storage required to display availability, submit a booking and protect the booking service. Duration is controlled by that provider and the booking session.
  • Hosting and security technologies - Hostinger or our infrastructure may use short-lived technologies necessary for security, traffic delivery and fraud prevention.

These technologies cannot be disabled through our preference panel because they are used only to remember your choice, secure the site or provide a function you expressly request.

4. ANALYTICS - OPTIONAL

Provider: Google Analytics 4. Purpose: measure visits, sessions, page use and aggregated website performance. Google may receive IP and device information; we enable IP anonymisation and load Analytics only after analytics consent.

  • _ga - distinguishes users. Default duration: 2 years.
  • _ga_<container-id> - maintains session state. Default duration: 2 years.

5. MARKETING AND ADVERTISING - OPTIONAL

These technologies measure advertising, record conversions and may support remarketing or audience creation. They load only after marketing consent.

  • _fbp / _fbc - Meta browser identifiers used for advertising measurement and site analytics. Provider: Meta. Duration: up to 90 days.
  • _gcl_au and related Google Ads identifiers - conversion measurement, attribution and remarketing. Provider: Google. Typical duration: up to 90 days, although Google may use additional identifiers on its own domains under its policy.
  • 2u_booked - session storage used to prevent a completed booking conversion being counted twice. Duration: the browser session, and only when marketing consent is active.

Consented Meta conversion events may be sent both through Meta Pixel and our server-side Meta Conversions API using a shared event identifier to avoid duplicate counting.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

  • Google: Analytics and Google Ads. Google cookie information.
  • Meta: Meta Pixel, Conversions API and WhatsApp. Meta Cookies Policy.
  • Tochat.be / ChatWith.io: booking availability and appointment submission.
  • MailerLite: newsletter links may use measurement technologies governed by the preferences associated with that mailing and MailerLite's terms.

Third-party services may update their technologies. We periodically review this list and will update this Policy when material changes occur.

7. DO NOT TRACK AND BROWSER SETTINGS

Browser-level Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals are not consistently supported by every provider. The reliable way to control optional technologies on this site is the Cookie Preferences panel. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although doing so may remove your saved preference and cause the banner to appear again.
